Alternadudes will be a breath of fresh air for many of you if you're getting tired of seeing the typical gay clones. Here, you won't see your standard twinks and jocks, but instead punks, skaters, rockers and other amateur guys with an alternative look. There's also a nice mix of sexual orientations with straight, gay , bi and trans performers represented.
Our last visit was in 2014 and the site looks a lot different. The design is pretty basic with its solid black background, but the interface is easy to use. There's no option to skip the first or last page in the video or photo section, but the pagination isn't too limited otherwise. And you've got tags, sorting options, comments and ratings, an advanced search engine and the ability to track your favorites.
Updates continue to be weekly and you'll find 289 videos with a few streaming and download options to choose from. Most of the videos are in HD files, but some look better than others. These are amateur productions, though, so it's not too surprising that the camerawork isn't always the best.
The photo section holds 288 galleries. Most have high-res pics, but you'll need to click the magnifying glass symbol below each image to see it in its full size. You can also turn an automatic slideshow and download them in Zip files. There are also vid caps for most of the videos.
Many of the guys have long hair, tattoos and piercings. Some have an emo look and sport dark eye makeup, and one even wears "demon" contact lenses. You'll see lots of twinks , some with body hair, but a few mature guys put it an appearance, too. You can browse via the model index if you're looking for a guy with a specific look.
You used to get video feeds as extras, but their bonus section now has behind-the-scenes footage along with some interviews. Still, they're theme-specific and they do add value to your membership, as does the cheaper monthly rebill. Alternadudes has retained its alternative style that makes for some unique gay porn.
