If you aren't familiar with Bijou Video, it is a company that has a long history of producing and distributing gay pornography. They made films starting in the 1970s with the last of their productions shot in the first half of the '90s. Gay Bijou brings you some of that classic gay action, so if you dig pornstaches and thick hairy pubes, you may have just found your way into gay heaven here.

Don't worry though, because if you're not into facial and body hair, you will see some clean-shaven fellows with relatively smooth torsos too. It's just that no one is shaved (let alone waxed) from head to toe, so you'll see hairless chests, but bushy armpits and leg hair. Pubic hair styles of the day were full, although they might be trimmed down a bit and the balls might be made virtually almost hair free .

As far as the action is concerned, you will see a mix of pre-condom classics along with others from the later '80s onwards after condoms started to be used. There are lots of blowjobs and plenty of anal sex as well as group sex that often isn't just a threesome or foursome, but rather a full-on orgy or gangbang. It is unfortunate, but there aren't keyword tags or even a search engine to help you find anything specifically.

More of an issue for me though is the bizarre way the 14 full-length films (well, or DVDs) have been divided into equal parts based on dividing playback time evenly. Like if a video is an hour long, for example, then you would see it presented as 10 clips each six minutes long. I guess that you could download them and queue them to play in order on your player of choice?

So, after doing some calculations, I'd guess that there are at least 130 scenes based on each movie having about four or five of them. Unfortunately, they're merely average in quality when it comes to their playback and they can't be streamed. I also can't say how often these undated vids are added.

They do list a photo section, but it only offers blurry vid caps. It doesn't add much value to your experience here, but at least there are actual bonuses offered. You've got one third-party video with high-quality photos as well as a vast selection of streaming and downloadable scenes offered via an onsite archive of more than 270 DVDs.

Personally, I love lately how many guys (even if it's mostly the hipsters or dudes doing it temporarily for "Movember") are wearing moustaches, because I find them sexy as hell. So, it follows that I also love seeing vintage gay porn. Unfortunately, Gay Bijou doesn't present its classic footage in the highest-quality formats, so that lets me down a bit.
