The full name of the site is Reds Realm of Romantic Restraint. And right from the tour page you can see that this site has its own philosophy about bondage, which you can read all about by following the "Harmony Philosophy" link. To give you a very brief synopsis,it is all about the erotic nature of bondage and is in no way meant to imply a female inferiority to men.

The mission statement is very well-written and after having read it I was very interested in seeing the content they are producting. However, that's where I was wrong. You see, folks, RedsRealm doesn't actually produce any content. The best way to describe the site is as a good friend who knows a lot about bondage and is constantly telling you about interesting things to see and places to visit within the niche.

You see, all the content on the site is culled from other sites around the Web. Click on a link and you'll see a bunch of small photo sets from some site and possibly a good-quality sample video to download (there's no streaming option). Also on the page will be a few sentences about the site and links to get to it.

You would think that with their philosophy and love of bondage the site would be more than just a link farm, but that is kind of what it comes across as. It also doesn't help that the design is very unappealing and navigation is also a big negative.

The entire members' area is text links. There aren’t any thumbnails or anything, so this means lots of scrolling and clicking and going in and out of pages with no real purpose. There aren’t even any sorting, filtering or search options for the 200 videos and about 475 photo sets.

There is a good amount of erotic fiction too, but the most interesting part of the site for me was the "video" column, which provided links to classic and modern bondage movies . Sometimes there were just some vid caps and other times there were some clips. And sometimes, as was the case with "The Story of O," there was a very interesting write-up about the history of the book, film and author as well as the option to download the entire movie.

The good news is that they add something new multiple times a week and, even more importantly, the price tag is very low, so giving the site a look won't put much of a dent in your porn wallet. It is with that in mind that I can even consider giving Reds Realm any kind of recommendation.
