I have a problem. When I get home, the first thing I do is peel off my socks and throw them just about anywhere. Though the guy who sells me socks does so at a price of five smackers per six-pack, my slovenly habits are beginning to affect my bankroll. We won't even get into how at least two left socks seem to disappear with every load of laundry. If the chicks on Sock Hunter have my problems, then they will have even larger expenses now that some hornballs are after their foot -mittens.

SockHunter will strike fear in the hearts of broke collegiates just struggling to get by without incurring any additional costs to their strained budgets, while pleasing the self-love set who enjoy a good sniff every now and again. So far, the site has stumbled out the gate, coming up with a dead fish for a debut.

The crew behind this effort might have waited a little bit before kicking things off when they did. For the time being they only have six videos that are not available in full-length format. They are chopped up into clips that run around five minutes and that might grate on some nerves. Movies can be streamed or downloaded in good to great-quality Windows Media files. The image quality is sometimes grainy and not always well-lit.

Pictures… you get none here. With only six movies posted, having a few picture sets to rummage through would certainly have given things a slight boost. With a little imagination and some good quality thrown in, this site could produce some very interesting picture collections.

Members do get full access to two bonus sites, including Chicks in Socks, which has a greater abundance of similar content than this site, so that might be something to consider right there. You also get a few links to other sites of interest.

Overall, with so little content and access to just two bonus sites, Sock Hunter is still not the greatest deal out there. The site has a good concept going and, given time, it just might grow into something very worthwhile, but now is not that time.
