I really don't know where one should draw the line between pornography and erotic art. Torrid Art does a very good job of merging artful photography and a true appreciation of the beauty of the female form with erotically charged poses and captivating glances.
TorridArt has a clean, user-friendly design and, at the same time, manages to be elegant and packed with information. On the page displaying a model's various photo galleries, you'll find a write-up describing the special techniques used during the shoots, as well as some of the photographer's insights on the woman's special talents and features. There's also some profile information, like country of origin, heritage and measurements.
Navigation is simple and you have several options for finding the photo sets. You can click on the galleries link and find the sets sorted by date back to July 2006. You can also use the model index and find all the spreads associated with each gorgeous babe. You can quickly jump to your favorite gal by selecting her from a drop-down menu. You can also browse by hair color or category, like MILF or Asian .
I found 834 photo sets. The photos themselves are incredible. You have a range of qualities depending on how much time you want to spend downloading each image. Each set offers huge high-res images backed by equally high production values. You'll find 47 of the photo galleries in the behind-the-scenes section.
For the collector, each set can be downloaded in a convenient Zip file. Be aware, though, that there's a download limit that restricts just how many Zip folders you can save during the course of day. One thing that's a bit surprising about the pics is that they can't be enjoyed in any kind of automatic slideshow, though I suppose such a function would only be practical for viewing the smaller versions of the pics.
One unfortunate thing about the site is that it doesn't offer much in the way of videos. There are only 12 movies to check out and they tend to be a little on the short side. Each one can be downloaded in a few formats, including a couple that are presented in HD.
While no bonus site are included with a membership, you do get access to some nice extras, like blogs on erotic photographs and desktop wallpaper. New content continues to be added to the collection, as there have been seven photo sets posted in the last 30 days.
You don't have to be a photography fanatic to appreciate this site. It helps, but the beautiful women and the evocative images will appeal to anyone who appreciates the softer side of sexuality. Specifically, it'll appeal to those who understand that softcore material can sometimes create the most intense experience. For its good design, high-caliber photography and good selection of content, I highly recommend Torrid Art.

Disagree with Tom as to the girls being on other sites. This isn't the plastic porn model recycling, these girls are unique and damn good looking. You can make up your own mind by looking at the preview site. My pet peeve(a BIG one) that knocks a 92 to an 80 is the set count. It looks like there is a fairly generous number of sets per model but that number is virtually cut in half because they give one set credit for being two sets by calling it "Black Dress 1" and "Black Dress 2" or "Period Piece 1" and "Period Piece 2". It's been done before, and it sure is annoying, and not to the sites credit. However, pretty careless of me to miss that because I scanned the previews for 20 minutes or so. BEWARE!! This would have been an alltime favorite for me if they didn't have the "set scam".

Some very nice models, stripping from pretty outfits and posing nude. Quite a few girls I've not really seen on other sites. The outfits and locations are very varied. Latest sets are 4000 pixel, a tiny bit too soft focus for my taste, but nice work. There are a small number of two girl sets, not hardcore, but pretty hot. The pictures are quite naturalistic - the girls have very little make-up, not even nail polish. I prefer that style to heavily made-up "glamour" shots. A few minor niggles. There are very few updates, maybe 5 or 6 a month. That doesn't matter on your first visit, there is plenty of archive material. But if you re-join after 6 months and find there are only 30 new sets, it could be annoying. To make it worse, most sets are split into two updates, so in fact there are really only 3 new sets a month. It is also rather annoying that the site seems to log you off after about 30 minutes, even if you are actively using it. Overall though, I would recommend it.
