Yaoi Movie Archive is one of those sites that promises you a lot, but doesn't live up to its own hype. Not to say that it doesn't have its good points. If the tour didn't build up your expectations, you'll probably be okay with what it gives you, but you may feel slightly misled by what it advertises.

YaoiMovieArchive gives you 178 videos to download in AVI format. They're not all of equal quality and it seems that you'll mostly come across average-quality playback. At least with animated vids, even if a video has a lower bit rate, it still might look okay on screen. Most scenes last around 30 minutes and you can also stream each movie in an embedded Flash player.

By the way, it might look like there are more movies , but the ones in the "hot scenes" section are just small parts of some of the longer films already found on the site. I guess the point of them is to show you the hardcore highlights.

As is standard for Japanese porn, some of the material has the penetration blurred out. However, you will find some cartoon schlongs sliding in and out of holes that are not censored. You will also find that most of the dialogue is in Japanese with English subtitles. I found at least one scene dubbed in English.

Not all of the content is actual hentai , like the scenes found in the "hentai" and "anime" sections. The latter has an assortment of anime OVAs and TV shows that are not pornographic in the least, like "Angel Sanctuary" and "Legend of Duo."

There are also 68 sets of pictures and they really vary in size. Some of the sets are quite small and others come with a decent number of pics. Despite their differences, all the galleries have good-looking pics that can be downloaded in Zip files.

The amount of content hasn't changed at all since we visited the site in 2010. So while there aren't any dates on anything, I'm pretty sure it's safe to say that updates have stopped for good.

You get six bonus sites, namely Best Hentai Games, 3D Hentai Video, Hentai Pics World, Hentai Video World, Hentai Niches and Planet Comixxx. They too feature toon sex, but be aware that they focus on straight action only.

Yaoi Movie Archive won't exactly blow you away, but there aren't many gay hentai sites out there. With some hot scenes and a decent number of them at that, the website is worth a look.
